Jumil Retrofit

Transform your planter for the future with Jumil technology

During planting, your planter’s performance is critical to ensuring that seeds, upon coming into contact with the soil, are able to efficiently utilize available resources for full germination and uniform emergence.

With the main challenges faced by our customers in mind, we decided to get closer to the field and work together to develop highly effective solutions that truly contribute to crop success.

Common problems that cause delayed emergence in crops

In addition to the topics listed here, adverse weather conditions or poor seed quality can also be factors, but we will focus our discussion here on conditions related to the planter itself.

Pneumatic Springs

One of the biggest challenges our customers face when planting is ensuring that seeds are deposited at the ideal depth. Traditionally, row-force systems on planters use mechanical springs, which allow for individual adjustments row by row. However, these adjustments are made manually and rely heavily on the operator’s prior knowledge and experience.

Given this operational complexity and the extreme reliance on stoppages for manual adjustments, Jumil has developed a solution to ensure uniform seed depth, with a simplified adjustment mechanism that allows for uniform germination even under adverse conditions.

EasyTech G2

  • Fewer chains required;
  • Faster operation with superior planting quality;
  • Fixed rate proportional to the machine’s travel speed.
  • Simplified and precise control of seed rate and fertilizer application rate;
  • Eliminates wheel slip and the effect of tire size variations;
  • Seed monitoring;

Easytech Electric:

For precise control of seed and fertilizer
application and elimination of heavy maintenance

  • Fixed-rate control of seed and fertilizer;
  • Fixed-rate control of Brachiaria grass;
  • Row-by-row seed monitoring;
  • Motor addressing;
  • Complete elimination of gearboxes, ratchets, and chains;
  • Manual row-by-row shut-off for maximum precision;
  • A power generator is required for 13 to 36 rows;
  • Electric motors for fertilizer and seed application;
  • Up to 12 rows without the need for a power generator.

Smart Planting – Bosch Ips

For precision agriculture challenges,
including inefficient use of inputs and a lack of adjustments

The IPS system—Bosch’s Intelligent Planting Solution—was designed to meet the needs of farmers, increasing efficiency and maximizing planting results. The display is easy to configure and operate during planting, showing relevant information that the operator can access at any time.

Important: Despite its simplicity, the system’s installation and maintenance must be performed by qualified and trained personnel to ensure that the manufacturer’s recommendations are followed.

JM36

For monitoring with basic functions on the monitor

  • Seed and fertilizer monitoring, up to 36 rows;
  • Information on planted hectares;
  • Seeds per meter;
  • Seeds per hectare;
  • Km per hour.

Guillotine Kit

Cutting power and soil loosening in a single tool

The Guillotine Kit combines the best features of each tool in a practical, easy-to-use design, preventing jamming even in the densest straw beds, rod breakage caused by stones, and clod formation in the furrow. This reduces the power requirement per row and ensures that each seed is planted at the same depth. As a result, it promotes excellent seedling germination and uniform emergence.

Brachiaria Kit

Renew your pasture, increase your litter layer, and improve your ground cover

The Brachiaria Kit is designed for sowing grass and legume seeds. This technique is used to sow fine-grained seeds between the rows of the main crop to provide ground cover and soil protection, resulting in better moisture retention during pasture establishment. Recommended for crop-livestock integration, it is suitable for planting a proportional second-crop corn crop after the grain has been harvested or used for pasture.

Other Solutions for Increasing Productivity in Planting

Single Seed Hopper

This solution can be mounted on any machine, offering twice the seed capacity and ensuring smooth seed flow. Equipped with gates to control opening and closing, it guarantees high planting efficiency by extending the interval between refills.

SHI Kits for Planters

The system features independent hydraulic units, ideal for tractors without variable flow control that need to power hydraulic motors. In addition, it offers complete flexibility with conversion kits that allow you to switch between PTO and motor drive, depending on operational needs.

Special Cutting Discs

With a versatile design—available in turbo, wavy, corrugated, or grooved models—this component is specifically designed to cut straw and monitor furrow cleanliness. This eliminates the risk of clogging and seed entanglement, ensuring precise and uniform seed placement.

Drop

Planting furrow inoculators help optimize crop yields by applying the treatment directly to the soil. This technology outperforms conventional seed treatment methods, ensuring greater efficiency and biological performance from the very start of the growing season.

Double-Gate Kits for Precisa Machines

Hydraulically operated double gate for finishing with half-machine distribution.

Variable-Rate Controller Kit - Precisa

Trimble EFX 350 controller kits for variable-rate application.

Fertilizer Meter

Fertisystem kits with an extension allow for the modernization of older machines, such as the 2880/2980 and 7080/7090 series. They ensure optimal fertilizer metering with complete precision, regardless of the ground’s slope.

Double Disc Fertilizer Kit

The system enables mirrored cutting, which eliminates clogging and seed wrapping issues. In addition, it allows for surface fertilization, ensuring greater efficiency and smoother operation.
